What have you found in your shoe

I have a 2 yr old and I was getting dressed this morning and as I sat at the back door putting on my shoes something strange was in one. I tilted the shoe and out falls a building block. Yesterday was a instruction manual for a toy. It's funny how at 5:00 something so small can make you laugh and think how boring my life was before. What all have ya'll found in your shoes?

I find blocks, toy cars. ect.

But the other day i went to fish a old pond and knew it would be muddy, so I grabbed my lacrosse boots and threw them in the back of the truck, when I put them on I felt something..... It was my hammer! I told my 4 year old son to put my hammer back in my toolbox when we finished hanging a picture.... Guess he thought that was were it went. Yes those little moments make life worth living.

Mouse is the top of my list for odd stuff in my shoe. THat will scare the heck out of you for sure.

No shoe story here, but this comment made me think of something else. My wife and I had the night to ourselves not too long ago. As we were making our way from Pontotoc to Tupelo, I noticed we had traveled several miles without saying one word to each other. Normally, we would be talking about something with our daughter, or listening to a music selection put together by an eight year old. Without her, we had nothing. It just goes to show you where your priorities get realigned to, when you have kids. So what did we used to talk to each other about? Who knows......it wasn't important anyway!

My daughter used to hide her medicine (Tylenol) in my shoe so she wouldnt have to take it. She was about 2 or so. I dont wear just one pair of shoes so I would buy more medicine and end up finding the other days or weeks later.

I have a nice scare right around my achilles tendon from when i found a piece of glass on my red ball rubber boots when i was a kid. Just made me think about the old red ball boots, i thought i was the s#!t because i had the same boots as my grandpa.

Tree frog....walked around with the dang thing in the toe of my boot all day long....had on bulky socks, so didn't notice it until I took off my boots....looked like I had cut all my toes off with the blood all over on my socks.

a half rack of eaten bbq ribs....we were messing around at deercamp one night and practical jokes were being planned.....i went to bed early and when i woke up the next morning, i had a half rack of ribs split between a pair of boots....kind of an odd feeling with a hangover...funny nonetheless
