Abused and Offended
go to "files/folders" on your startup menu...click browse...type in whatever site it is that keeps popping. click search...that SHOULD bring up everything on your computer associated with that site. Delete/uninstall everything associated with it and hopefully your problem will be solved. If not, then maybe they created some sort of hidden cookie that keeps putting it in as your homepage when you start up??? is that possible?

Epuipment needed for repair.
1. One Roll Duct Tape
2. One Stick Dynamite,(Can use more if you like.)
3. One 22 Rifle
4. One Cartridge for rifle(number of cartridges may vary depending on skill of user)
Instructions.
Take duct tape and attach dynamite to the side of computer. Step off 50 paces(may vary acording to amount of dynamite) and use Rifle to shot dynamite.
Repeat procedure if needed.

Follow this link this program is called addware 6.0 its free and it works very well it will search out all of your browser hijacks and all the other spyware crap and delete it
The deal you have most probally added it self to the registry in some computer jibberish name making it impossible to locate and some of these hijacks bounce around in your registry each time you reboot .... most of the sites that put these out in the free games etc have these in the background and you agree to'em for using the game and some all you have to do is vistit their website. But alot of them will have a site in cyberland where you can click an unistall program if you can find them thats the hard part. What is the name of the search tool I assume it added?
Addware may not kill this particular one but you will be supprised at how much crap and spyware it will find on your computer.
This program is a "At your own risk deal" but I have used it for quite some time now and its never caused me any trouble just helped.

I had the same problem with my computer and it is a spy program. If you still are having problems Drop me a line and i will e-mail you the two programs. They are not to hard to operate and they will list everything that is running on your comouter that is not suppose to be running.

i had that exact problem and used the ad aware 6.0 a while back. it worked for me. but Big Country's solution is your best bet i'd imagine. i just got thru cleanin over 5 thousand files with a virus this past week. Computers make life a little easier MOST of the time but when they flip out, they FLIP OUT!!!

We all hate getting stuck in the pop up hell-0 but it happens most of the time when you click on something not expecting to get tagalong bags....benny it appears also you like to go surf and grab pictures...From experience be very careful. I use graphics in my day job and there are alot of sites that are putting hidden joys/pains as tag alongs on there pics/graphic's so be very careful when your Borrowing someones grahics.

Check your add/remove programs in the control panel. See if it is in there. You can also check the registry for entries with the name of the program in it (*.exe if you can find it) and remove them.
