Might not want to complain too much. Before you know, you want only be drawing for the first weeks of the season, but want have anywhere's to go becasue you didn't get drawn!
On a side note, I agree. I drove a little over 3 hours last year to have someone beat me to the 'spot'. I do believe he must have slept there. Anyway, I turned around and went else where as the area could hold 2 hunters, but the issue to safety was one I didn't wish to try my luck at.

He's ticked that we're not letting him have the whole place. I ask which direction he's going and I tell him we'll go elsewhere and stay out of his way. He doesn't want to tell us where he's going. Finally, he says he's going south of the road. Fine. We agree to go north. At daylight, turkey gobbles 500 yards north of the road. We get set up in good shape. Twenty minutes later, guess who's stomping through the woods between us and the turkey, hooting like a mad man.
I do agree that there are certain situation where two or multiple groups of hunters that dont know each other might have to discuss who is going where. And some roads definitely lead into too many woods to claim them all, even for a turkey hunter who may walk 5 miles in a morning.

Well that story sounds mighty familier. Shiatt happens all the time in yo neck of the woods. (D.N.F.) Usually just one particular guy too! But anyhow he wouldn't have killed the turkey I can assure you! Just mighta been pickin a little lead out his ass, AGAIN too!YazooValley wrote:In general, I agree.
