Re: Jamey Johnson
Last night's show in Memphis was awesome. That's the 2nd time I've seen him and it's always a great show. Does his songs, then ends with a bunch of classics like George Jones, Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams Jr., and Waylon Jennings. His version of Turn the Page was bad booty.

Re: Jamey Johnson
I always wondered what the hell the music executives are thinking in Nashville. People want different and the country crowd is fed up with this bs pop country stuff. People still love sad old country songs, western style country and in all reality, real country.
I know a few guys who are good songwriters but their stuff will never sell. They think because Jamie Johnson did it anyone can. What folks fail to realize is this cat has been around awhile writing. He made it because there was nobody in Nashville to tell him it wouldn't work.
Like Waylon said.."Are you sure Hank done it this away?"

Re: Jamey Johnson
Didn't Jamey Johnson write the George Strait song "Give it away"?

Re: Jamey Johnson
We were front row center in Vicksburg. My little boy came home with a Rowdy J pick, Jamey Johnson pick, and a drum stick. It was cool the drummer came up to my wife and put the stick in her hand and told her "This is for your little boy because he is awsome and was rocking with us." A FINE looking chick behind us gave him a pick she caught, then he caught one and gave it to her she was so excited she gave him a big kiss on the lips! He said yuk, I said son a few years from now you'd be tryin to take her home(I know I would have she was HOT), He said why would I do that Daddy, I just laughed.
