Griff Update

Postby gunner » Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:40 pm

Thanks for the prayers for Griff everyone! He went through his procedures just fine. We got another good report. The blasts in his bone marrow are down from ~90% to 9%. They have to be below 5% to be considered "in remission." His peripheral blood blasts are down from 9% to 1%. Also, his white blood cell count is going back up!! PRAISE GOD!! There are even rumblings of letting us go home tomorrow or early next week.

Thanks for the visits drako, Mrs. Nancy, and buckwabit!! You folks are good people! Here's a little someth'n for ya!

Thank goodness. What a good day to hear such. Gives us a small taste of the sacrifice our Father made for us. I've seen some kids in Batson that are so sick u wouldn't think survival is even possible. Makes me more thankful for ur good news.

We will have to come to Jackson once a week for 6 months at least. Our next trip is Thurdsday. He will have to go get yet another bone marrow aspiration. His back is so sore already that he is walking strange. Poor lil man.

Thanks again for all the prayers and visits. We still got a long way to go. Please keep them going.
