Ducks in my Swimming Pool

Postby khayes » Thu Jun 03, 2010 2:25 pm

need a little help on how to make the ducks leave without putting a shotgun on em'. I live inside the city limits of tupelo so any suggestions would be helpful. i've heard putting floating animals in the pool, but seems not to help...figured a lot of the duck hunters on here would have some sort of know how...thnks Ken

Naw...as an Albanian, they would have to buy breakfast somewhere...and you have to remember, it is their God given right, since they are spending money here, to kill those ducks...and true to Albanian form, next weekend you'd have no ducks, but 50-11 Albanians at your house....picture it....jacked up Z-71s with twenty inch rims, with flocks of ducks(stickers) in the rear windows so big, it'd make the market hunters envious, "Blow This" stickers, And their favorite Dirt Track racin' sticker to go with it, and camo vent visors and bug shields and other paraphinalia, Alabama DU car tags, Mullets, NASCAR flags...i'm tellin you it's not worth it. You'd be doomed forever by people from Alabama knocking at your door years from now saying how they read on an internet forum that at one time, there were a few ducks in your pool...dont let them know.

if you have a pool cover, just put the cover on for a few days, it that dont work you can try getting one of those pool alarms. I think they run 200-300 bucks new but you might find one on ebay cheap.

just wait for the 4th of July to come and go get some fireworks. Those big red black cat types, M-something, should do the trick nicely and give some entertainment.

Hire some hip booters to hang out by the pool. Ducks always seem to avoid hip booters.
