There God in their book is not the father of the TRUTH. Therefore, I conclude their God and my God are not the same, at least in my feeble mind. Can't have it both ways.

There is only one truth. You can't have two or three or more, then it wouldn't be truth. Any God who is not the father of Jesus is no God.

you can write that in stone, blood or what ever but all I have to say is AMEN BROTHER....THAT IS GOOD STUFF RIGHT THERE :D
Thanks

I dunno bout most of you, but I come from a traditional Christian (Catholic) background and teaching. Allah=God=Yaweh.

Christianity starts with the old testament and moves onto the new (after Christ). Islam moves on to the Koran (after Mohammed), and Judaism begins and ends with the old testament (more or less).

All three religions believe in the one God, it's just the who and when of the coming of the Savior that is debated. Christians believe Jesus was our Savior. Muslims believe that Jesus was a great prophet but Mohammed was their Savior... the Jews are still waiting (they won't see him until judgement day).

Debate all the fine nuances but that's about it in a nutshell. I don't care whether you're Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu or whatever. Its an oxymoron to call onesself Christian or "religious" and at the same time denigrate other religions. Tolerance and respect. That is "HIS" most important lesson. We just like to kill and persecute each other over the definition of our religious teachers. I may believe the only path to Heaven is through faith and the practice of the teachings of JC but it IS NOT my place (or yours) to determine the fate of any other single human being.

It is amazing to me that most of mankind has FAITH in one form of religious teaching or another yet at the same time ignores the first and most important lesson taught us by Yaweh, Jesus, Mohhamed or _______. That is the respect for all other men and women REGARDLESS of their personal beliefs.

If you BELIEVE then you must aknowledge that there is only ONE judge. And it AIN'T you!!!!!!

Annointing ourselves as judge and jury is not an affliction limited to Christians - it is a seemingly universal weakness (sin) of most humans. However it is a disasterously fatal flaw in any of us who profess to live in witness of our personal beliefs. By living in such a manner, we automatically contradict what we "say" we believe.

What's the difference?

Yikes....... Man yall will turn reality into any damn thing that suits you....

if you equate one who would handle rattlesnakes and one's salvation based on faith through grace as the same thing then my reality and your reality are two different things.

honestly ben.....i am not trying to taunt you or get a rise outta ya like i was over on the political board. i just wonder what someone did to you that was so bad that made you hate all christians. really your catorization of all or none on most subjects limits your universe to the size of a marble.

hey, this is going to be my last post on this subject so i won't leave it here without saying something good about ya. i showed some of the things that you are doing here to the computer guru (nerd) where my wife works. he was really impressed and the only thing that he lives breaths and sleeps is computers.

peace,

I really like your new avatar, Benny. It fits you well.

The heavens are trying to reach you, but you won't listen. You're wearing your "helmet" for what you see as protection.

I ain't jumpin on you again. I apologize for going off last week on that other post. It was about 3 AM and I was tired and you stepped on my toes a little.

Peace?

You guys are fighting a battle that can't be won, or solved, or stopped. You should know that....

1 Corinthians 2:14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:

A non-Christian cant understand, and does not have the ability to understand. It is all foolishness to him.... Stop trying to prove people wrong, or make others understand. It won't happen & can't happen... let it go.

Apparently you're not judging from the series of replies that you've given today. And yes, to answer your question, I am very tired of seeing you avoid having to answer the question when challenged on something you said.

I agree with you. A man of nature thinks he knows better.... You are more right than you could imagine.

Ben A wrote:It's cowboys and indians new wave style........

Got this from another site.

Three strangers strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Bozeman, Montana, awaiting their flights. One is an American Indian passing through from Lame Deer. Another is a Cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show and the third passenger is a fundamentalist Arab student, newly arrived at Montana State University from the Middle East.

Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim and the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The
cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind out side is blowing tumbleweeds around, and the old windsock is flapping; but still no plane comes.

Finally, the American Indian clears his throat and softly he speaks, "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few."

The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?"

The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl, "That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, but I do believe it's a-comin'."
