Speck Call?

Postby Side Kick » Mon Aug 09, 2010 8:20 pm

Who makes a decent Speck call? I'm talking user friendly, a good sound, and that won't break the bank. Thanks

Chien Caille
I can't find their website anymore, but they are selling through Macks now.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

+1. Pay close attention to the instructions on how to place your hand on the call.
Never assume.

Well sorry about your bad luck, guy. I did, but that's because I was born awesome.

+1 on the Chien Caille, however it's not the easiest for some to blow.

Chien Caille, but it takes a while to learn to blow. Withough generating the propper backpressure it will sound like a party cazoo instead of a speck.

The Chein Caille is an awesome speck call, but Haydel's may be a little easier for a beginner. It sounds good too. I've called a lot of specks to their death with one.

i got both the Chein Caille, and one of the Haydels, Patrick is right, the haydels is much easier to use for beginners(ME) but the Chein Caille sounds awsome in experienced hands (not me)

I'd have to check and see which one I have. I'll try to remember to look tonight.
