As I have said many times, I am not a great deer hunter. I get lucky occassionally but I dont have the instincts for it like great deer hunters do. In 30 years of deer hunting, I have taken 8 bucks that were 4.5 years old or older. The biggest is a 149" gross 9 point with a broke brow tine that when fixed pushes him to 155". He is in Magnolia Records- Yazoo County muzzleloader. I have taken many bucks that gross in the 115"-130" range. At least 10 of those maybe more- some of them are 2.5 and 3.5 year olds that outscore some of the mature bucks I have killed. My biggest bow kill is a 123" gross 9 point from Illinois. I have had the opportunity to kill 5-10 bucks in the 150+ but I have never been able to close the deal on them. Like I said, I am not a great deer hunter.

After 40 years of duck hunting and the tuteluge of my dad who was a lifelong duck hunter but only killed two deer in his life, I am an expert duck hunter and because of that I have good instincts for turkey hunting. All that and $1,00 will buy you a cup of coffee. What counts is that I have a lifetime of memories, a bunch of good friends and a son I am raising in the hunters way. I put up with this crap for two years but now it is on. I have checked my New Testament side at the door adn I want some Old Testament justice. You want a piece of me Drake 88? Just say so and we will work out the details of my kiching your butt in a legal way.

As for workdays on Sunday, I coach my son's soccer team so if we got a game on Saturday, then workday has to be on Sunday. I am a Christian but I aint a saint. I am not a holy roller either but it has been revealed to me that hunting and being a Christian can go great together. That being said, I know that fighting back on this thread is wrong but I have reached my limit of these punks and their attacks on me. I apologize to everybody for that. I should be a bigger/better man but I dont take being called a liar and a cheat lightly. When my faith and my famuly got called into it- that was it. Something inside of my broke and all I got now for anybody that attacks me is sheer rage.

As for DUCK HUNT, see RC OWENS post. Like almost all of my friends, he is not a web forum kind of guy. He registered today and got his post made. I got other friends trying to get registered so they can weigh on this as well. If and when that happens, will you admit that you were wrong?
