As for deer getting killed that I know nothing about, etc. if a guy wants to pay his dues to shoot young bucks just to "beat T. Logan" what kind of an idiot is he? I tell you about one such idiot...
He was a member for a year or two in the early 2000s right when I was starting the club. He worked for the City of Jackson but guess where he lived? CORRECT- Clinton, MS. He passed on some pretty nice bucks early, then got frustrated and shot a young one late- about an 85" 8 point. Gets his dad to help him sneak it out. Then he goes out and gets drunk at a Christmas Party and tells a friend of mine about it. Friend reports it to me- I confront him about it. Of course, he lies and I kick him out.
Thing is, he is not cheating me. He is cheating the other guys in the club. If I never kill another deer, I have killed more than my share. If I never kill another buck, I have killed more than my share. I got 9 or 10 shoulder mounts, 10-15 skull mounts, a muley and a prongy. I want a bull elk and a caribou and maybe a sheep if I can draw a tag and I am good. 2000+ ducks, 50+ turkeys, 150+ deer- how much game does one man need to kill in his life? I ahve been blessed way more than I deserve when comes to time spent afield and game harvested. I am sure your Clinton mentality cant relate to that but that is your problem, not mine. And I will tell you something else. I would trade every one of those animals for just one more day spent hunting ducks with my Pops.
Back to the idiot that shot the 85" buck. I could not fine him since him since I did not catch him with the deer but what an idiot. Then again, if I had to do it over again, maybe I would take him to small claims court and sue him to see if he would tell the truth or lie under oath to instead.
We got lots of young bucks. Nothing I can do about liars and cheats so I dont worry about them. But the truth comes out sooner or later. As an honest man, I work on a "I trsut everybody until they give me a reason not to" basis. So you can definitely screw me once. But you will not screw me twice and get away with it.
As for poachers, if that is true, SNOT very well could be committing a crime by having knowledge of a crime and not reporting it. I promise you that I am going to find out about that. I have run the decoy at BRHC in the past. That was a few years ago but sounds like it might time for that again.
For everybody else that isnt part of the Clinton Creeps- hang around this thread a little bit longer and you will see some mighty interesting stuff- not that it will matter to the Clintonites. They have already proven that all they really now how to do is call people names like a bunch of little kids. But I got little surprise for them anyway. It will be real intersting to see how they respond when one of their own, oen of the great deer hunters in MS history, jumps in on my side. Not sure he can handle the technology but we will figure something out.

Being a Christian doesnt mean being perfect. And you dont have to be a saint for God to use you right where you are. Is it not true that Jesus told the thieves to HIs left and the thieves to His right that they would be in Heaven with him that day? I am far from perfect but I am a good, honest man who stands by his friends and I have learned to not hate my enemies. I still dont give much ground when being pushed around but until this latest round wtih SNOT et al, I had not felt hate in my heart for anybody in quite awhile.
But this is a different deal. These guys suspended the rules when they called me a liar, cheat, con artist and scam and then went after my faith and my family. The rules are suspended and I am responding accordingly.BTW, we have had three workdays so far this year. All three were on Saturdays. We got one to go- hopefully it will be on a Saturday when my son's soccer team is not playing.

I figured you would start that "the buck is not 2.5" crap again Kyle/Keith. Like I told you then, I am tellng you now. I took the jawbone to 2 differet biologists. I did not tell them what I thought or what the other said. Both aged the buck at 2.5. We had a 2.5 year old 11 point killed last year that grossed 129" and weighed 230#. THat buck was aged by three different biologists- all three biologists said the buck was 2.5. I fined the guy- he gave up a shooting house- we are good.
Loess soils + corn and beans + good management = big bucks. Simple as that. It is not coincidence that the Matt Woods non-typical and the Marlon Stokes typical (both #1 in Hinds County and both B&C) came from within 5 miles of our club. Deer have to be that big at 2.5 if they are going to get to B&C size. The Roe Wall buck was an average 2.5 year old for our place. BTW, I still have the jawbone for Roe's buck. if I can figure out how to take a picture of it, I will post it on here so all the stinking genuises out there can age it.

I want to see his response to this. I have dealt with mossy oak recently with sponsorship and also russel outdoors. They are extremely tough and stricked on things. Trust me. You have to go through hoops to get either of their names used on anything.
