SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
Gekko is batting a 1000 on the swings he is taking...Thanks for support MACDADDY...You are 100% correct...All I want to do is put a club togtether, run it well and have fun...Our land is very hard to hunt- it has features that no other hunting club in MS has ever dealt with. For example, a historic walking trail and a daycare in the perimeter of the club. When I started the club, neither of those was there. On the other hand, we got a deer processor nad excellent taxidermist within 5 miles of us so it is tradeoff situation....But the bottomline on this thread- like the MDWFP thread- is that Trevor Wall (SNOT), Kyle and Keith Sandridge (STONEPONY, GODNWORB, etc) and NICK (Remington) have been attacking me with baseless, outright lies for over 2 years. The unanswered question is why? I know why and it has nothing to do with anything they have said. They have another agenda and that will come out before this is all over. Internet forum or no forum- this is far from over.
As for thread title. the original title was "Hunting Club Near Flora". I started the thread. SNOT hijacked it. I should be allowed to rename the thread since I started it and it got hijacked, particularly in the fashion that it has gotten hijacked.
30 pages worth of postings and only 1 former member - REMINGTON- has come foward to attackl me. One other- SNOT- is the brother of a former member but to my knowledge, SNOT never hunted on the property. If he did, I dont recall meeting him. The rest of the postings are based on what guys think they know based on internet postings by SNOT. REMINGTON and the Sandridge boys. MACDADDY has called these punks out out 100% accurately. RCJOWENS has told you the reality from a club members perspective. I got several more members and former members registered but not yet activated to provide further clarity of that reality. One of them wsa in the club, got out and is back in a couple of years later. If the club sucked like SNOT says, why would he do that? If the disk wss a big deal, why did the disk owner pay the illegal buck fine? If I was a crook, why did I forgive $200 of his fines? If I was a con artist, why did I forgive $500 off a $1000 fine last year and accept a shooting house as payment? If I was a crook, why have 8 bucks killed at BRHC since 2000 been the biggest of the hunter's deer hunting career at that time? Which BTW does not include me. My biggest BRHC buck is #4 on my lifetime list. I ahve been very honest in telling amybody and everybody that we are a 120"-140" club with bigger deer that we occassionally kill and bigger deer that we never kill. DOesnt that make us lbetter than a lot of clubs in MS but not as good sa others?
I am not perferct, but I have never cheated anybody out of a dime on this or any other matter, and I do the best I can. I am not a great deer hunter but hunt a lot, kill a lot of deer and occassionally get lucky on nice bucks. For these purposes what is important is that I ahve NEVER said I was a great deer hunter. That is not what I am about. I just want us to have a safe, fun place to hunt wih tthe best deer management we can afford. Guys get in the club and stay in if that works for them. They get out if it dont. What is the big deal?
I will get photos up but I got to cut guys pictures out of the phoots, scan them in and email them to somebody who knows how to post them. I am still waiting for somebody to volunteer to do that since I dont know how.
As for the club rules, who is in a better position to jduge them: Guys that have never hunted at BRHC or me and the members? Rules have to reflect the land you are hunting to be effective nnd they have to reflect the goals and objectives of the guys doing the hunting. Our rules work for us.
This thread- like the MDWFP Forum thread also instigated by Trevor Wall/SNOT, Nick/REMINGTON and the SANDRIDGE boys- all from Clinton- is acunch of hooey. I hated to stoop to their level but it was time thaty got a taste of their own medicine. They can give it but thtey cant take it and they have made a lot of legal mistakes along the way. I turned the other cheek last tiem but not this time. The record is being set straight but I am a long way from the justice I deserved- and will get- in this matter. Stay tuned.

Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
DRAKE88- you say you have had dealings with me but you wont say who you are or what dealings we have had. What kinda chicken skirt is that? Reveal yourself and tell us all what dealings you and I had?
Then you say that RCJOWENS is HAMMER and HAMMER is RCJOWENS- how the heck did I pull that off? You guys give me credit for JEDI MIND TRICKS that I do not deserve! On top of that, RCJ Owens is his real name. Just like my real name is T. Logan Russell, owner of Russell Outdoors, Inc., founded in 1992 (or was it 1993- go to the MS Secretary of State website to find out), host of THE INSIDE THE OUTDOORS RADIO SHOW, co-founder/Executive Director of Mississippi Sportsmen Against Hunger, publisher of the first two regulations books for MDWFP in 1994-95 and 1995-96. yada, yada, yada. I been around, done some good work, made a lot of friends and a few enemies and had a ball along the way.
Nothing remarkable about any of that but I will be damned if I am going to sit back any longer and let punks let Trevor Wall, Keith and Kyle Sandridge and Nick whatever his name is attack me. I am a pragmatic fellow. Turnign the other cheek did not work so Christian or not, I have gone Old Testament eye for an eye on em. I am not proud of it but it is what I had to do. Everybody remember who started this and then ask yourself why have they attacked me and why have so many guys without a dog in this fight felt compelled to pile on? Jelly being one of the latest to offer his halfcocked reasoning on the matter.
Of course I contacted my buddies to ask them to register and post in my defense- BECAUSE not a single one of them was a member of DuckSouth until I asked them to join. There are a bunch of my buds registered now and pending activation so stay tuned for their posts.
That is one reason this garbage got to where it is now- my buddies are not Internet Forum type of guys. Other than GH22 whom I have had dealings with on duck stuff over the years and see at Extravanganza and maybe one or two other guys, I dont know ANY of yall. The two best friends I have ever had that were regular members on this Forum both died. They were buddies that I hunted with and also worked with on business stuff. I might have met some of you but I dont know you so you cant say you know me. If I am wrong about that, then reveal who you are!
Lets get back to the club rules for a minute. Please give me a 1-2-3 listing of what is so objectionable to our rules. Is it writing down what you see in the logbook? WHat is so wroing about saying I saw 9 deer- 2 4 points, a 6 point and a 8 point and 5 does. You dont have to say "I saw 2 4 points, a 6 point and a 150" 8 point and 5 does". I have this data from past years and if I can ever get around to entering it by date, it might realy huelp us. It already helps me wth deer mangement. Many clubs have deer obeservation cards- so what is the big deal?
Regaarding trail cam photos, a guys does not have to say where the photo came from, only the sectin the camera is in. We have 13 sections on 900+/- acres. Good luck figuring out where the camera is unelss they tell you.
Is it that I want to know where you are putting up a climber stand? IF so, has it not occured to you that safety is priority number 1 and I dont woant guys hunting right on top of themselves? DId you know that at Tara you are qquired to take your climber donw after ech and every hunt? IN other words, you cannot leave your climber hanging on the tree? I got that rules directlry from Tara because if works for them, I want to try it.
As for copyrighting, etc, I am outdoor writer and photographer among other things. What sense does it make for me to work my booty off on 100+ degree days hanging stands, etc., do everything I can to help you, then you kill a state record buck and the story gets written up by some other writer when I am in that business? What sense does it make for you to post photo of big buck on trail cam on internest site, then lie to me about it so I got to kick you out of club? The rule prevens taht from happening if a guy follows it. If he breaks rule< i Kick him out. Either way, teh expectations are established on the front end.
30 pages and only one former member- Nick/Remingotn- and the brother (Tervor Wall/SNOT)of another former member (Roe Wall)- have coem forward. Whera are all the other guys I have screwed? they dont exist because I did not screw anybody, ever and this thread has proven it. RCJ OWENS HAS TOLD YOU ABOUT ME NAD MY CLUB FROM THE INSIDE. MACDADDY HAS TOLD YOU ABOUT SNOT AND THE SANDDRIDGE PUNKS FROM DEALINGS WITH THEM ON THE MDWFP FORUM. WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO AY EXCEPT TREVOR WALL, THE SANDRIDGE BOYS AND NICK HAVE INTENIONALLY AND MALICIOUSLY ATTACKED AN INNOCENT MAN IN AN ATTEMPT TO TARNISH HIS REPUTATION. THE REMAINGNG QUESTION IS WHY HAVE THEY DONE THIS? THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION CAN BE EASILY SEEN IN THEIR POSTS BUT YOU GOT TO BE LOOKING FOR IT. IT WILL ALL COME OUT SOON ENOUGH.

Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
One other thing....I am avid snow skiier. I lived in Rockies for four years in 1980s and have skiied at least 3-4 days every year since except for maybe one or two years. My kids are 8 and 9 and have been skiing since they were 4 years old. Skiing has skill classifications of beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert. I am advanced skiier meaning if it is lift served, black diamond, I can ski it and ski it well. If if is lift served double black diamond, I can probably ski it but it might not be pretty. But there is plenty of stuff I cant ski that expert skiiers can. Not bad for Mississippi Delta boy that never skiied until he was 23 years old but nothign to brag about.
Translate that to duck hunting. If there are ducks using a hole at all, I will figure out a way to kill them. I know the species of plants they like to eat, the invertebrates they like to eat, when to shoot and when not to shoot, how to set the decoys, where to stand and where not to stand, when to call-when not to call, which way to face when calling, etc. Duck hunting is the only thing in my life, that I have been truly, truly good at. It is a natural talent that I have. I am not as good as I was when I was hunting ducks veritually everday of the season (28 out of 30 days one year) and when I was chasing them all over the place so I had to adapt to different holes, different hunting pressure, etc. I deer hunt more now and duck hunt less so I start out rusty but by the 4th-5ht hunt of the
year, I am just about not going to miss a shot at a duck. I have been on hunts where we killed 8 mallards and 4 off brands in 3 minutes with one spare shell fired. I call for you and you call for me. If you use more than one shell to kill duck, you lose your turn to shoot. Stuff like that. I have hunted ducks for 40 years- FORTY YEARS- and I owned/operated my own guide service from 1993-2000. Not bragging- just the facts- I am an expert duck hunter.
I only say that to acknowledge that I am not- and probably will never be- an expert deer hunter. I am ADVANCED but not EXPERT. I just dont have the instincts for killing the big ones. I repeatedly get myself in a position to kill them but I can never seem to close the deal. If I were an expert deer hunter, I would have at least 5 and possibly 10 Mississippi bucks grossing over 150" instead of 1. But it is my aibility to get in position on this big uns that I share with the members of my club. In other words, I know how to do it, I just cant do it myself. I am a better deer coach than deer player. So it is just the opposite of what some of yall ahve said. It is not about me, it is about the TEAM. 8 bucks killed on our club have been the hunters career best at that time. I have taken 4 guys on hunts when they bagged their first turkey. I cant count how many guys have kileld their fisrt duck with me. I have seen deer meat donated to feed thousands of hungry Mississippians. Money cannot buy the joy I get from doing this stuff and a bunch of young, snot nosed punks cannot take that joy away from me. I come from a long line of tough, outspoken, prgrmatic, persistent Mississippi hunters and the women who fathered their children. YOu mes with me, you are messing with the Russells and the Alcorns and the Mitchells. I dont advise it.

Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
Just more stuff to scan over. I can't even read it anymore. "If I'm such crook why I take 200 on a 1000 fine." "It cost 25 to fix the disc." "I'm not a crook." Blah blah blah! $#!+ gives me a headache
Where'd who go?
Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
thought you read the whole post....if so, you've already seen this on pg26, but like you, i'll run over the same old ground....again. it isn't hard and if you can become an advanced skiier at 23, you can post a picture on a duck forum....Hammer wrote:....... and email them to somebody who knows how to post them. *edited to correct the ski classification and to say that, no i didn't re-post the example pic from the original post. there will be a pic where mine says moc3.jpg. if you really want to see the pic, go back to pg26, but being from the Delta, you've seen thousands if not hundreds of thousands of them...donia wrote:Hammer wrote:IF I email photos to you MACDADDY will you post them for me- I dont know how to do it myself.
as long as the picture file is small enough, you can post it here without a photo sharing site. when you are typing in the box, like i am now, look below the Preview Submit Save Cance buttons and you will see a Browse button. Click that button and go to the folder on your hard drive that the pic is stored (ex: C:/Pics/Deer/Monsters/dsc111111.jpg) and select the pic, click Open and you will see the address of the pic beside the Browse button. Click Add the File and voila, click submit and you have a pic added. if you see a message saying the file is too large, save it as a smaller file or resize (which ever option is availabe with the software on your computer). the largest you can post is 256k. below File Comment, you will see the name of the pic file when it is ready to be submitted.
....like this ugly mofo i found online that started as a 360kb file - i saved as, and in my software i had an option to resize and resized it to the smallest setting in the software i have - that i want to place
here X i put my cursor where i want the pic and clicked Place Inline to put it where i want it in the text....

Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
oh my gosh hammer. Shut up already! You think all the people on this forum formed this opinion about you because of something Keith Kyle Trevor or I posted on here? If you haven't noticed, there are many many people over these 30 pages that say they dont like you, your rules, your management practices, or your cocky attitude. It seems like you have a problem accepting the fact that people just can't stand you. They read your rules and your long ass boring posts and they know what type of person you are. You aren't changing anyones mind. I got on here to get the facts straight about you breaking this disc. Anything said after that is because you keep antagonizing me.
Everything I posted on this topic is completly true.....period

Hear we going repeating ourself again and again, and sound like a damn 10 yr old. Who gives a $#!+ about you being a pansy ass that likes to snow ski. Whoopty damn doo!! I think it's common sense when it comes to most hunting. Of course we all know you can't stand out in the damn open to kill ducks and or etc. Stop trying so hard to be something that you will never be. It's ok there are plenty failures out there as yourself. They just know when to give up unlike you. I don't have to make my identity known to you. Maybe if you could keep track with your damn con artist lies you would know. It only been about 2 months ago you jack ass. So go back and read my post and you will understand everything I have said and exactly what I was talking about. Offer stands adios!

If you were walking down the road, in a yellow canoe, and one of the wheels fell off, how many pancakes would it take to shingle a dog house?
Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
I was called a jerk for saying I am an expert duck hunter. I would never say it if it werent true and I dont think it is a big deal. Some guys are scratch golfers. They are not bragging when they tell you their handicap- it just is what it is. I have used my being expert duck hunter to put into perspective my skills as a deer hunter since those deer huntng skills ahve been repeatedly called out on this thread. I am advanced deer hunter, but not expert.
So what is an expert deer hunter? I believe it is a skill set that results in consistently taking mature bucks (defined as 4.5 and older). I have taken 6 such bucks in my life ranging from a unicorn, gray ghost of a buck on his last rack in Rankin County in 1980 to a 149" gross 9 point in Panther Swamp in 1995 to four more taken since 2000 in Hinds County- 2 at BRHC and 2 on Big Black. In 30 years of deer hunting, I should ahve taken twice that many and most of them would have outscored my biggest. I have missed them, wounded them and not gotten a shot at them when I should have. An expert deer hunter would have closed many of those deals. I know several expert deer hunters and they have an instinct for it that I dont have.
On the other hand, very, very rarely will I go duck hunting and not kill a limit. That is because (a) I dont go if there are no ducks (b) I dont miss many and (c) I know what I am doing. I dont define the experience by a limit, rather I define the experience by seeing and interacting with ducks. Got no ducks? I go deer hunting. Got tons of ducks? I go duck hunting. Got some ducks? I go if I feel like and dont if I dont. All that being said, my hunting is rapidly becoming about my son so what I hunt, when and where might be changing soon but that will not change deal at BRHC on youth days. Maybe it will in the future if EVERYBODY has a youth to hunt with but right now that is just not the case so my son and I will hunt elsewhere.
Regarding youth days, we are hosting NWTF Disabled Youth this year and I cant wait! I hope our kid breaks the State Record!
As for my shooting 3.5s on other properties but not allowing them at BRHC, you need to understand that two of the biggest deer in MS history have been killed within 5 miles of us. That is really what I am after whether it is me or somebody else. I just want to see the monster buck dead. The 172" is very nice- but as the guy who killed it said two weeks later- "I just saw a buck that makes mine look average!" I shot a 3.5 9 point last year in Yazoo County. I passed 5 other ones on that ground, 5 or 6 more at BRHC and 1 at Big Black. All very nice bucks but at some point, you got enough of those and you let them go so they will grow or so somebody else can shoot them if they want to.
You also need to understnad that the buck rules at BRHC hasve chnged from year to year as we tried to calibrate rules with objectives. Buck rules have included 125" or bigger, 3.5 or older, 4.5 or older. This year you get two bucks. One can be 3.5 but the other has to be 4.5 or older. The only time 2.5 year olds would have ever been allowwed ws when rule swas striaght 125" or bigger. We had one of theose kileld laste year but it was illegal because last yeaer's rules did not allow it. True trophy management is 4.5 years old or older. That is a tough row to hoe. so I am allowing a limited 3.5 yerar old program this year. That makes us a Quality Deer Managemnt club which is fine by me- especially if we can kill one or two of the 3.5s with a bow and get them into P&Y. If our bow hunting wasnt so tough, I would have already gone bow only by now. That might be inevitabel as historic park grows and more houses are built around us but firearms hunting is still viable for now- AS LONG AS RULES ARE IN PLACE AND ARE FOLLOWED TO KEEP EVERYTHHHING SAFE.
Hunting has been a large part of my life for 40 years now. IT has been a wonderful life. That could change in a split second if somebody got hurt and it was my fault. Bad enough that they got hurt- much worse if I could have/should have prevented it. Call me a control freak if you want to but I call it being prudent. Ever heard of a club that REQUIRES Summit LIfe LInes on all it lock-ons? Ours does. Is that being a control freak or being safe? Depends pon ypour pserspective. Same goes for our club rules. They work for us- leave us alone and hunt the way you want to or post your club ruels so we can all take shots at them.
IF you are going to attack my rules, then put up your rules. If you are going to post about bad experiencce with me then post who you are and what the experinece was. If you are goign to call me a con and scam then go to the authorities and have me arrested or go to court and sue me. YOu havent doen that becaue you are lying so you use the internes to slander and libel me among other torts. RCJOWENS and MACDADDY have shut you up a litle bit and the rest of the guys are coiming as soon they are activated. What you punks gonna do then?
So what is an expert deer hunter? I believe it is a skill set that results in consistently taking mature bucks (defined as 4.5 and older). I have taken 6 such bucks in my life ranging from a unicorn, gray ghost of a buck on his last rack in Rankin County in 1980 to a 149" gross 9 point in Panther Swamp in 1995 to four more taken since 2000 in Hinds County- 2 at BRHC and 2 on Big Black. Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
Been on this site since 2001. You are the first person I have seen say they are an expert......... anywhere.Hammer wrote:I was called a jerk for saying I am an expert duck hunter.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Our club has no rules, you shoot whatever you want to. 10-12 paying member plus all the guests in the world. 150 dollars per year. 27 stands (4 being 3 person stands so you can take your kids or just hang out with friends.) 40 something deer harvested last year. 3 biggest bucks in contest were so close it was hard to tell (158). We do this year after year. Some folks are after the trophy(mainly guests) but the majority of us are lookin for eaters. Personally I like the 90 pound nannies. I try for three a year, then I just chill in the stand with friends. Don't even load my rifle most of the time. Well, that's our rules...oh wait we do have one rule. NO CORN!
