it rattles (must look)

Postby everette crofford » Thu Oct 07, 2010 9:17 pm

well this mofo was killed in pontotoc county. a friend of mine had it on their facebook page and i thought i would share it. it was over 10ft long and weighed 120 pounds. they caught a picture of it on a trail camera and hunted that dude down. looks like they might have used a shotgun. either way i dont think those boots he was wearing would have done any good.

Well, we've already had a thread addressing guns and alcohol. Now your friends have gone and mixed in 10ft, 120lb rattlesnakes. Guns, and beer, and snakes; oh my!

the day I see a 10ft 120lb rattler, that's when I'll believe it.

Anyone can hold a 5ft snake on a 6ft pole up to the camera and make it look enormous compared to the guy holding him.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

you got to be a "man" to hold a 120lbs up on the end of a 5 ft pool like that

I don't believe it was photo shopped. He's holding the stick straight out so as to be about 4ft closer to the camera than he is. Ol fish picture trick...
I have no doubt that sucker is about a 7 to 8 footer and 20 pounds though...

It was killed in GA. The article was in the September Georgia Outdoor News. It's 6 ft +. Still too dang big!

It never rattled...just reared up out of the grass to get a look at who was bothering it.

If that thing is 8 feet long then he wouldn't need to do the "fish trick".
