I use a 12-13 foot long pipe, about 5 inches in diameter. It just so happened to be laying behind the shop. I tie a big tow strap to it loosely at both ends. as you drag it, it gets bigger and bigger with loose stubble... when it gets to much, hope the turn row and get on dry ground. it flips over and rolls the majority of the stubble off, so I can keep rolling without stopping. mudtires are pretty much a ness cause it gets heavy real quick and you'll start spinning. every once in a while it'll bog up and you'll have to get out and get some off in the water, but if you time it thats rare and you can ride and do it. BTW, kids love to do it... bring a couple 12 years olds, they can take turns driving and watching the drag and they;ll thank you for it while you can be doing something productive, or something relaxing...

Lot of the ducks we killed opening weekend were full of rice
