I think some of us wanted the versa max to succeed since we grew up shooting 1100s, bought youth 1100s for the kids, and use 870s as the ole reliable....but this blunder recall already seems to have sealed the deal for the auto loader.

We've got a Remington Products Developement Mgr. coming to the LLDC with some for us to try. They put them through their paces in Argentina this year and we'll see if they live up to the hype. Will be hard for me to put down my SBE, but will give them a try and see. I've shot some of their Hypersteel they sent me and it's quick for sure. I didn't pattern any but it will kill a duck and quickly. A knuckle buster though. 1 1/4 oz of shot at 1700fps is moving on for sure.
