I believe duckaholic and everyone else who oppose internet scouting is trying to make the point that that is exactly the problem. There was once a time when the only way to get info on a place was to actually put boots on the ground. The internet has made life a lot easier for the lazy wannabe duck hunter, which has in turn lead to a lot of the overcrowding issues on public grounds. The info is only available if someone puts it out there.

pretty sure he meant that millions of phone conversations can't be searched for info (without a warrant and tap, anyway), unlike web sites....not that you can't search the interwebnet from a phone.

The info is only available if someone puts it out there....... exactly my point if he post up asking and you don't wanna tell him then dont.......you cant control what or how others choose to do things.....and whether he call the WMA and ask the question or post up DUKSO.com and ask the question......whats the difference to anyone? why should you or I be able to tell him not to do that or even really be upset when he does.....its the world we live in, I wish things would back up to the time when I could hunt all year and not see another group of hunters but those days are gone.
