Greenwood guys...
I found out this afternoon that I am getting moved to our home office in Greenwood. Any of y'all have any advice on where to live? I'm trying to keep the commute less than 30 minutes. We would kinda like to rent for a bit while we look for a place to buy. Anybody know anything? PM me if you've got anything. Were meeting with a realtor Monday morning down there to look at a couple places. Thanks guys!!

Look in the Carrollton area,,nice people,,anything past Valley Hill along 82 east toward Winona. Teul2 can point you in the right direction. Also see if Don Miller on here can give you any leads around the Holcomb area.

GREENWOOD - Authorities said a man who was caught having sex with show hogs will have his case presented to the Leflore County Grand Jury next month. Andrew Lee Nash, 52, was arrested on Dec. 3, 2010 after police set up surveillance cameras in the owner's stalls near U.S. Highway 82 and the Yazoo River.
Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell said the hogs were examined by a local veterinarian, during a routine examination, and the owner was told that four of the hogs had a v*****l infection.
"The owner of the animals knew someone was messing with his animals," said Chief Investigator Huntley Nevels. "And the veterinarian confirmed the sexual assault. So, the owner contacted police and the officers staked it out and caught him out there."
Nash, who lives in the 700 block of Mississippi Avenue, was arrested at the scene and charged with 12 counts of unnatural intercourse.
Nash's bond was initially set at $600,000, but later reduced to $60,000.
Nash remains in custody at the Leflore County jail.
Greenwood authorities said Nash's case is scheduled to be presented before the Leflore County Grand Jury next month. If Nash is indicted and found guilty, he faces up to 120 years in jail.

Re: Greenwood guys...
I lived in Greenwood for 37 years. The quality of living really gone down hill in the past 20 years. You will have to send your kids to a private school and tuition is VERY expensive. Taxes in Greenwood and Leflore County are some of the most expensive in the state. 20% of the population pays for the other 80% if you know what I mean. I moved to west Grenada County just south of Holcomb which is about 18 miles to Greenwood. I like it so much better than living in Greenwood. Also the Grenada public school system is good and I'm 10 miles from Grenada Lake which is a plus.
Get with a realtor from Grenada and look south of Holcomb.
