starkville guys-lock your vehicles.
I have been telling my little brother if he keeps riding around with his guitars and amps in his tahoe that he was going to get robbed. Well the inevitable happened someone stole his tahoe with two pa speakers in it. On top of that another vehicle in the same lot was stolen. Apparently there has been a number of thefts recently. Make sure you lock up your truck and anything you want to keep take it out. Damn I hate a thief.

i keep hearing "gang" used more and more around here...not gangs here, but they either meet here to fight or rob(shootings/carjacks midnight and later at b-quick). ride crotch rockets...have heard starkville is the midpoint between them and easy pickens with all the students, then back out of town NE and SW.
*friend of my boss's son had his truck carjacked at b-quick (montomery and hwy12) one night late. he was filling up with gas and said all of the sudden he was surrounded by a dark sea of mean lookin dudes. guy made him drive out to the country, then put him out and drove off in his truck...said he thought he was dead, but the guy let him go.

had a girl here at work had this happen to her. they made her drive around downtown and she finally decided to rear-end the car infront of her at a stoplight and the dudes decided not to wait around and be a witness on the police report and jumped out of the car and took off.donia wrote: friend of my boss's son had his truck carjacked at b-quick (montomery and hwy12) one night late. he was filling up with gas and said all of the sudden he was surrounded by a dark sea of mean lookin dudes. guy made him drive out to the country, then put him out and drove off in his truck...said he thought he was dead, but the guy let him go.

SPD said none of the towing companies had it. They called back and said one in fact, DID have it. So...yeah it got towed.

Anybody happen to know what was up on Hwy 25 by academy dr yesterday afternoon? Three cruisers had a minivan pulled over. Cops had their guns drawn and yelling out over the loud speaker.

Where'd who go?
