BLRA Gulf Coast Chapter Spring 2011 Trial Update

The British Labrador Retriever Association, Gulf Coast Chapter, will holding a 16 dog Novice Field Trial, April 2, 2011. Location will be Antlers & Wings Plantation, 4240 Jana Lane, Perkinston, MS, 39573.

The trial is run under British Kennel Club rules and will be in the tower shoot format. Entry fee is $75 dollars. More details concerning the tower format, prizes, and accommodations coming soon. The BLRA Gulf Coast Chapter is excited to announce our April 2nd, 16 dog Novice spring trial is full. Thanks to everyone who will be participating!

The format has changed due to lack of live pheasants available. We will not have the tower shoot format, but will include a driven field with Chukars and water with mallards.

Once again Antlers & Wings Plantation will host our trial and lodging is available to participants and visitors on the grounds.

There will be a first, second, third and gunners choice award.

Lunch will be served, which will include smoked chicken, potato salad, baked beans and lots of cold beverages. Also, there will be many door prizes. Hope some of you that may not be interested in participating in a British trial at this time will come and view the trial. We all share the love for hunting and retrievers.
