ADS: Insurance agent around Brandon

The greedy bastards at State Farm finally got my goat. Been a SF customer for 17 years, have my home, auto, wife's malpractice, etc. through them and got a letter in the mail this week that stated:

At the renewal date, your basic policy deductible will be increased to $1,000...

...for an additional chargea lower deductible option may be available subject to certain restricitons...

So I call my agent today, who, happens to be gone AGAIN, and talk to the lady that runs the office (literally):

"Oh yes, they are trying to get rid of all $500 deductibles and force everyone to go to $1,000 to reduce unnecessary claims volume and save money. We've had the same call all week. No, your premium won't stay the same or decrease, it's actually going to INCREASE with the new $1,000 deductible and would increase EVEN MORE if you elect to keep the $500 deductible..."

After that I blacked out. I came to when I got home and the wife cussed a blue streak about the (*&%^*&$)*& *$&suckers &*^@#*(& that run State Farm and that they can (*&@#^&*^ her )&*(@#)(*& and (*@#&%* her )(*&^*(%^...

So, I'm basically looking for a *(&@$)&@# that I can move all my *@&#)(*@#&$ to and not get *(&^(*^(*&^&*%^ in the *&^(*&^ anytime soon.

..got our's a few years ago. they wouldn't let us get a $1mil umbrella for the pool, unless we upped the coverage to a minimum of xx (which was on the higher end of coverage) on my yukon and went to a higher deduct. the agent originally told us state farm was pushing it, but later the lady that runs his office told me it was the agent that was pushing it. we're with shelter now....after state farm told us that we wouldn't find anyone that will beat their coverage and service ...she was pizzed when i later told her they got beat on both!

I wish you would refer 8-12 people a month to me for life insurance! Heck I'll pay you some money! Not a single agent anywhere close to here can touch my life rates! If you have your life insurance with your home and auto, you are paying too much, fyi! it might be $10 month more but do $10 x 12 months x 25 or 30 years.... it adds up! I know I had a guy with 1,000,000 in life with shelter on a 20 yr term and it was $143/month and mine was $109/month! Both standard rates! no tobacco! something to think about!

But the guy with Shelter saves 5% on ALL his autos. That can really add up also.. Just something to think about..
