Kansas

Postby deredwine » Thu Apr 14, 2011 1:36 pm

Has anyone hunted North central Kansas the second week of May. I am planning a trip there but the 11th of May will be the earliset that I can get there. I have hunted Kansas before but not that late in the season. Just wondering how good the birds would work that late?
Be still boys they're fixing to do the dance.

We usually go the first week of May. Last year they were henned up really bad at that time. The year before that they were gettin after it hard. Had to practice a little self control not to tag out the first day. You should be fine by the second week of May

I'm heading to Kansas May 12-15th as well. I hope they are good then.
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

Patrick, Stephen and I tagged out in Kansas in a day and a half ending today and are headed back home 2 days early.
