Re: Arkansas Duck Talk
Not familiar with the site.....but based on the name, I would think it self-destructed.
Duck talk (generally speaking) tends to bes only good for people that have limited experience with duck hunting, and no place to go. The latter is not good for the local folks that have to contend with the influx of joy-seekers with little understanding and appreciation for solitude and the damaging effects of talking about public hunting spots on such a wide-reaching medium (internet)......with people whose character or intentions they know nothing about.......all for the selfish purpose of appearing 'in-the-know'.
Same thing needs to happen to this site.
We've all had some potentially good and traditional hunting grounds ruined by 'talk' on this site. The 'search' feature will produce evidence that will corraborate this statement.
I'll 'duck talk' with folks I know well enough and that have earned my trust. Currently, I can count those on one hand.
Our waterfowing heritage (as we once knew it) is dwindling by the hands of........(speaking of the difference between 'hunters' and 'shooters').......those wanting to be taken to what has become widely regarded as 'sport' " [Bill McClure - former columnist for Wildfowl Magazine].

Re: Arkansas Duck Talk
a hand's gotta be putting in some hours of overtime for james or dan to get a big enough gutful to ban said hand from that dump.....i would ask what you did, but you'd probably get banned here too and the area elementary schools would be put on noticehntrpat1 wrote:Its dead, Bryce sucks and danT is gonna find some other loser with a stable of ditch skanks to run the site.
