Great work guys. Any chance y'all could do Anguilla? 109 preferred, lol.
I'd rather be prepared for worst case.

So does that mean that yesterday's news (below) was premature?DanP wrote:Ok just got off phone with the Corp...
Yazoo Backwater Levees are at 107. The MS River will crest at 57.5' = 103.73'. Yazoo River headwater will drive it up to 107'.
There will be some spill over into the Yazoo Backwater Area - BUT - the Corp is still projecting 95' @ Steele Bayou landside. I'm pulling the 109 flood maps and going to start putting up some lower number stuff. It think the 109 is assuming catastrophic levee failure, which the Corp does not believe will happen.
YBW AREA FORECAST
At this forecast the Yazoo Backwater Levee will OVERTOP by 1.3’! The Yazoo Backwater Area could be entirely flooded. The Corps is working on an inundation map so we can see exactly what will be flooded. Hopefully I will get a copy of that map tomorrow. This could flood up to elevation 109’. If you are located on property at or below 109’ you might get flooded.

Not premature, just worst case scenario. Hope and pray the Backwater Levees hold..
