Permanent Teeth

Postby lovelylab » Tue May 03, 2011 1:41 pm

I have a five month old yellow female who absolutely loves to retrieve. Loves the water, will retreiver bumpers, will sit, stay, heel, etc. When is it time to start with the hold and force fetch? I know the pup needs to have the permanent teeth. What approximate age do pups lose the baby teeth and begin to get the permanent teeth?

Don't rush your hold or FF, when those gums are sore or bleeding stop retrieving and make sure your obedience is solid before hold and ff
