will this highwater knock out the turkey population completely? I know there was a bad hatch the last 2 years on the river.

A late flood is especially hard on turkeys and as long as this one is predicted to hang around it is going to be detrimental to the adult birds. As we all know they are stubborn and hard headed and don't like to leave their spring and summertime range.... They will stay in the trees till they starve to death and fall to the water.
