DanP.....any word on the Collins Creek back water? I can see it from my front porch and it's not on any inundation maps.......what I'm seeing is about a half mile from any water shown....and it's creeping in.

Also....another part of my place that Collin's Creek has already flooded isn't on the map either. I'm just wondering if I should get the Hell out of dodge if a few good rains are in the forecast.

I don't think they considered backwater from Collins Creek in this map... If it starts raining I would keep a close eye for sure. Do you know what elevation your at?

I can look in my files from when the CO2 pipeline was put in for exact elevation, but from my best recollection it's about 100 - 108 on the North side of Hwy 3 in the fields in front of my house....depending on where it's at. My house is at 120 or so....not worried about the house....just worried about crops.

Collin's Creek has been up all year.....water structure at Adam's Landing is closed......a few good rains away from a lot of water being locked into the ring levee between Satartia and Adam's Landing......good thing I have a boat in the hills. :D

New web based elevation site linked up to our web page. Go to water update and then delta elevations. Click on the first great rivers link. Delta State did a great job putting it together.

Is there any way to see this map in a larger format so people with old eyes can read it? I've been wanting to know what the flood map would look like if the levee broke. Thanks for this info.

Did you try clicking on the map? When I open that link, it has a magnifying glass when you move the pointer over the map, click on the map and it becomes larger.

Yes.

I can figure it out, I was just hoping for a better picture of the map.

I saved it to my puter and zoomed in, but still fuzzy.

Email it to me, also, please Danny.
