jugging?

ANybody been jugging up above tommys in the river recently, we plan on spending the weekend up that way, so either way we will be wetting hooks!!

Buddy caught 30 up there last week one afternoon, I think Thursday, north of causeway, madison side.

I'm going to try them right off of Twin Harbor Friday afternoon late if it won't be raining or too windy, probably Saturday too.

we may see ya out there, we plan on staying up there till sunday, driving from hattiesburg, proably have hooks in the water from fri afternoon till sun morn!! good luck my friend

Where are y'all gonna stay? Just looked at the weather. If it holds true 5 MPH NNW. Will be the first wind out of N we have had in a while and first time under 10. Which is good for us little boat people. Looking forward to it.

hoping to stay at goshen springs camp ground, as of today they had 13 camp spots, we will see how that goes, we have a decent sized boat grizzly 1860---- we should be good, if its real windy we will stay up in the river and load the cooler up with eaters!!

He Used To.

I have a buddy that has a cabin at the end of lake harbor. it on the first canal when you come from the river.

to windy to jug for us. we caught a few in the canals.

We fished on the Madison side (big water) Saturday morning and evening. Caught a bunch of small ones on rod and reels. Couple of decent ones on jugs. I think Saturday night right after dark was the time. The wind dies for about 3 hours. But we had to leave at dusk becasue I didn't think to bring a light.
I think jctrapper adn his crew did OK

I'm thinking upriver this coming weekend, weather is supposed to be perfect.
