Anybody shoot a 10 GA?

Postby BLOOD DOG » Tue Jul 05, 2011 10:52 am

I got a new duck blind SP-10 with the briley waterfowl chokes. Was wondering if anybody had a shell/choke prefference for decoying/passing ducks with the ocasional passing goose?

We all shoot the winchester supremes. They shoot as good as any. I have an older sp-10 that shoots like a champ. I normally run the modified choke in it, and shoot #2's. Those shells are around $200 a case. But if your looking for a little higher dollar of a shell I'd go with the hevi-metals.. Also very good shells. Ive shot a box of them and couldnt tell that big of a difference. Might have turned a few too many back the night before I shot em tho!! Just go get a box of what you may wanna try and go from your personal preference!

I have an ithica mag-10 and a bps-10, and both have been duck-hunting. Unless I'm hunting deep water and have to stay in the boat, they stay home. Just too heavy and slow to wade around with, and they don't really extend your range very much.
you did put in the plug, right?
