NEW ARROW REST

Postby Sod Man » Thu Aug 18, 2011 9:27 am

i am in need of a new arrow rest i have the $55 dollar version of the qad rest and my fletchings are hitting due to bounce back from the rest. I have looked at the trophy ridge drop zone and like it but was wondering what other suggestions you guys might have. Any help will be greatly appreciated
I might lose a job or a woman, but i will never lose hunting.

You need to re-tune or possible switch the rest fork on the QAD. I was having the same issue on the QAD ld last year and this resolved my issue with bounce back.

+1. Bow shop should be able to help out. I shoot that rest on a bow shooting 312 fps and I don't have any problems. needs adjusting

I still love my whisker biscuit....I guess the reason I am stuck on it is becasue I have always had issues with my arrow falling off of a conventional rest and the whisker biscuit solves it.

I second what he said. Get you a QAD, it will hold your arrow just as good as a biscuit. And it will shoot better groups.

Check out the Vapor Trail Limbdriver Pro V. It is the best tuning rest on the market. It stays up longer than any other rest but it falls faster than any other. Every bow I have tuned with this rest has shot a bullet hole on the first shot. The couple of bows I have had time to play with shooting old fixed blades have shot right next to field points at 20 yards.

I guarantee you a limb driver will solve ur troubles. I second the last poster, limb driver falls faster and tunes better than any rest I've worked on.

Although I would think a QAD would fall fast enough for that bow, it could be something wrong with that rest?
