That says a lot coming from someone who evidently frequents Madison AND Oxford.
Can't help where you're born and State doesn't have a law school, hence Madison AND Oxford. Guess I should've put "by way of," but you beat me to it.

Yeah, yeah. It can keep a grizzly or a shark out of your beer, but I'm waiting for the Yeti vs. Tyrannosaurus Rex youtube video...

Yet, what is the one thing we rednecks do? We overpay cause it's "quality". Small homeowner saw? Ta hell with that I want the BEST.

Same thing with a yeti. I make a one time purchase and as long as it is locked down in my truck I'll never have to worry about buying another cooler in my life. Expensive? Yeah. I throw stickers on it and after a couple of years that thing has battle scars on it. It becomes an old friend, just like anything of quality does.

Yall keep buyin' the cheap chitty coolers. Me, I'm done buying coolers hopefully for the rest of my life.

Simple as that, the damn things are tuff. Ice be damned- they're tuff.
Better hope nobody steals your truck. Thats bout like leaving your calls hanging on the rear view mirror.

So if somebody steals your truck, you personally would be more pissed off about the cooler and your calls than, I don't know, the truck??

Hard to get bands and custom calls back, they sell trucks everyday also insurance. Unless you buy your bands then hail i guess it wouldn't matter.

driveby wrote:If you're going to be on a 5 day expedition in the mountains and not have access to electricity or more ice........then I might can see it. For the rest of those who have one to use for a single day on the lake or to keep beer cold for the evening or to just be seen with it.......I rank them with those that sport big Salt Life and Costa stickers on their back glass.

I pity you for not getting to do more expeditions. I have a couple yeti's but my next cooler will be a big hand made commercial job like they use on shrimp boats. Supossedly the coleman extremes hold ice as well as the yeti's. I can't vouch for that, but if the scientific data supports it, then maybe I overpaid.
