I know many of you have heard the scripture Obedience is better than sacrifice
Well I was cutting my grass this afternoon, and I had noticed how tall my new neighbors grass had gotten. After finishing my yard I just felt in my spirit that I should cut thiers. I drove across my yard and began cutting theirs since no one was home, or so I thought. I finished up and drove back down into my garage, got off my mower and turned to find my neighbor walking towards me. He thanked me, then He began to tell me how he and his wife were expecting their first child and that she had miscarried this morning and how much it touched him seeing me cut his grass for him.
Sometimes the small meaningless acts of kindness we do are part of Gods greater plan to reveal His love for others.
Be Blessed,
Dan
Obedience
Re: Obedience
I cut my neighbors yard who was a elderly lady one I first moved to Southaven. That afternoon her neighbor on the other side who was also an elderly lady came and knocked on my door and informed me that she mowed our mutual neighbors grass for money and did not appreciate me mowing it for free!! And suggested that I not mow the grass again
