Thought this was a cool pic. It is my Granddads sportsman 58 he gave me before he passed away. He never was a hunter and I don't know if it has even had a case of shells shot through it. Anyway pic was taken with black berry but I thought I would share.

HA my grandad has one just like that.... except he is a hunter. He said he has replaced the firing pin and spring in it about four times, not because it was a bad gun, just because he slap wore them out. He had it figured up one time how many rounds he had run through it but it was tens of thousands. He turned 80 this year, and I got to see him take a double with it this past opening day of dove season. He was a crack shot when his body could still keep up with his mind, which thankfully is still very sharp.

anybody know what these guns are worth? i also have one my grandfather left me.

dunno what they are worth, but i got for for about 225 a year ago, and its about 80-90%
