I am trying to learn how to make the high pitch squeal part of the Cajun squeal. I can't get the high pitch sound. I am not sure if this is right but it seems like the tip of the tongue should be on the roof of the mouth and you should pucker your lips and blow from your cheeks. If that is not right, how do you get the high pitch squeal part? Also - is a daisy cutter going to be a hard call to learn on? Should I switch to a double reed to master the sound?
Thanks for any advice!

Re: cajun squealing
Not sure on a daisy cutter, never used one, but I have single reed. You gotta 'chench' your lips. Thats the only way I know to explain it.....................keep practicin, you will get it.

You can "pinch" the air by pushing your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
