Pineville/Alexandria, LA

Postby weasel897 » Mon Dec 05, 2011 11:12 am

Just moved here from the Mississippi Delta and looking to meet some new peeps!...I thought there's no better place to look than with people that share the same passions I do...chasing our fine feathered friends!

Give me shout if your from the area and feel like showing a fella around or just having a cold beer.

Thanks,
weasel

Lived down there for about a year before the mill closed down. Unlike in MS, most everybody duck hunts around there. Be willing to fight the crowds, pay the money, or make some good friends.

FROM...

Yeah, I hope to be hunting Catahoula this weekend as my first hunt in LA. Can't wait to see if it's worth all the hype I've been hearing!

I'll buy a round or two if I see ya there!

What all non-resident license crap do I need? Too much stuff to choose from on the LA Wildlife site.

I'm actually headed down to Alex/Pine/Cenla on bizness tomorrow. I use to work down there back in 1989-1990. Never duck hunted down there though. Heard the coonasses tell the grebeck is tasty though! :D

Yeah, I wasn't too happy to leave home, but I couldn't pass up the job opportunity.

I'm sure opening day can't be much worse than some of the boat races back home!

Mr Stencil, I'll check around here and see if anyone knows anything about that lodge.
