been kickin a beard since mid october, my boss finally said something about it this morning. Guess its time to shape it down to a stache. Can't decide wheather to go Full handlebar, Wyatt Earp style, or just corner to corner style...

Haha I'll have to agree Ted Jr. Never thought I'd see Teddy M on here. He can flat out grow a mean stach.

I recommend the corner to corner...it is the quintessential mustache. But it needs to be really thick.

OK, look at the picture of the dude with the grateful dead t-shirt. The gingerkid on the left with the ginger stache is freaking scary. I'm hoping he will get picked for pediatrics so he can scare women and children.

How did Thomas Wood's no-mustache-growing booty get in that picture?

The "Movember" comment on this thread got me to thinking about some men I know who have had to deal with prostate cancer. I know, this is a 'fun' thread, so how in the h3!! did my thoughts turn so morbid, right? Go figure.

Anyway, since at least some of us on here are going to be affected by prostate cancer at some point in our lives, I thought it might be a good idea to find out more about this disease. I also thought that we may want to do something to encourage men to get screened for the disease, and beat it before it hurts any of us. (That's the "increase awareness" thing that good government beurocrats like myself always talk about in meetings.) What are your thoughts?

FYI - I ran across the website http://www.pcf.org, and read up on it a little bit.

Oh, and umm, sorry to hijack the thread.

Not a hijack at all. Much appreciated...my grandfather died from the disease. I have been told, on a long enough time line, if nothing else gets you, prostate cancer eventually will (or at least every man will contract the disease I should say if you live long enough).

Might not be a bad idea to have some sort of msducks get-together/ prostate fundraiser with money donated to whatever 501c3 is dedicated to prostate cancer treatments and cures. Maybe a crawfish boil in the spring. Has msducks ever conducted a philantropic event such as this?

Don't know, but I'd be willing to grow a stash and auction it off with the proceeds going to said cause. (Of course, being ginger like I am, it may take me a while to get one to actually grow. )
