taxidermy question
taxidermy question
have 2 pretty birds. initially thought to eat them so gutted and put in cooler. now wet and gutless, I am having second thoughts of having a dead mount made. would this be possible with wet gutless birds? just a cut below sternum which would be facing the wall on the mount.

Re: taxidermy question
It's possible. Wet is not a problem, but depends on how bad you butchered them to get the guts out. A taxidermist may charge you more for excessive repairs.
