bowfishing louisiana

Anybody here bowfish down that way much. Ive got my boat rigged up and want to make a trip down there but not sure where the better areas are or places to stay. Thinking about Lafitte but im not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

good deal, thanks! is it pretty straight forward fishing...just troll the edges of the marsh or any tips or tricks that i should know :?:

Watch out for those unmarked private leases!

C&M is good and so is Joe's Landing. There is an apartment above Joe's they rent out pretty cheap. Its nice and will sleep 8 comfortable.

C & M in Lafitte is nice. Not sure about the bowfishing there but I have seen a bowfishing guide put in there before...

Remember there are size restrictions on the fish you are shooting.

Yep 5 redfish limit over 16", only 1 over 27"

I have a camp on Bayou DeCade...keep them out of that area!!!! I'll shoot! Or at least moon ya!
