Places to eat, have a beverage in Orange Beach/Pensacola.

Postby WilM88 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 3:44 pm

Well this is my last ever Spring Break and aside from Fishing and Turkey Hunting I'm going down to Orange Beach this weekend for a few days with a handful of friends for some much needed R&R. Anyway, I haven't been to that area in a few years, I always go to Destin. I was wondering where we could eat some good seafood and have enjoy a beverage while down there.. Flora-Bama, Flounders, PeglegPetes, The Wharf? Only places I remember from last time I was down there. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Appreciate the help.

Pirates Cove, between 1-4. Go by boat if possible. If you drive, observe speed limits and tell driver to drink responsibly Was there yesterday and it was starting draw a crowd. Get a cheese burger and at least one bushwacker. Its what Flora Bama was 30 years ago.

Louisiana Langiappe? is a great restaurant if you don't mind spending a few bucks. The grouper is excellent. Tacky Jack's is a fun place to go have a rum runner in the afternoon.

The Wharf will be packed they have a Eric church concert sat night. If you want small bar atmosphere and the Trilogy band will be playing sat at 7pm and plenty to drink.

+1 on Gulf Shores Steamer in Orange Beach.

Get you some raw oysters and order one of their steamed seafood platter to share with the table served with an ice cold beer

Will keep all the places mentioned so far in mind. I'm so ready to get this week over with and head down there.

I had no idea Eric Church was playing down there this weekend.
