watched the damn show three times last night while i started on "gunslinger" - another benefit of this thread.
the cloaked, ninja sword wielding, zombie on a choker totin' chick was bad to the bone......can't wait for next year and gonna have to get the blueray boxed set to catch up.

First season was not that good in my opinion. I have read the comics. As usual the written version is always better than a film adaptation, but it is a good series.
I was very impressed with some of the firearm usage on the Season 2 finally. Last night we saw a kid that just fired his first handgun take down a zombie with a head shot at 30 yards while his own father was partially obstructing his view. Also, we had Hershel with the most Bad to the bone shotgun ever made. I counted one scene where he fired off 11 rounds without a single reload. We also had Lori taking down would be attackers with head shots at 30-40 yards, using no other than a snub nose 38. And of course, not missing a single shot while hanging out a window of fast moving automobiles riding on uneven terrain.
Yes, those were some pretty impressive feat of marksmanship we saw last night. Better sign that group up for "Top Shot".
Of course, while I am rolling my eyes and making comments such as how unbelievable that is, I have to remind myself I am watching a show centered around zombies roaming the earth.
