Man, don't lose sleep over this. He'll answer to whatever you name him. Besides, for the first couple of years at least, you're gonna call him 'Dammit', 'Chithead', or some other expletive that can't properly be mentioned here anyway. I just ran accross this thread, had it on my favorites apparently. The name would up HRCH Twin Rivers Rowdy Roddy Piper--call name rowdy. Rowdy he is!! Funny thread to look back on. I've learned alot about these crazy dogs in the last couple of years.

Hardcore waterfowlers name their dogs "Drake" and "Avery".

I've always liked the names that tell you where the dog comes from. My brothers pointer's name is Etta, because he picked her up in the small town of Etta near Oxford. If that doesn't work for you I always liked "dog". Hey if it was good enough for John Wayne its good enough for me. If you dont't know that is from the movie "Big Jake" you have bigger problems than a dogs name.
