Anything Nash Buckingham.
Just finished Gene Nunnery's Old Pro Turkey hunter and I really enjoyed it.
Working on finishing Ben Lee's Tenth Legion.

Old Pro and the Tenth Legion are both good books. I will have to join the club and say the Tenth Legion is flat-out funny stuff. The Flaming Turkey is another fantastic read with a sad ending.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone mention his books, but Patrick F. McManus is a fantastic writer. If you want to literally laugh out loud, get some of his books like Into The Twilight, Endlessly Grousing.

If you like Indians get the book Southeastern Indians by Charles Hudson. It is the book to read if you want to learn all there is to know about indians of the southeast.

What you looking for? I try not to pigeonhole myself to one category. I read a bit of everything.

Fiction:
Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse by James Wesley Rawles
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson - book the movie was loosely based on, book is WAAAYYYY better
Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes - about the Vietnam war (one of the best I've read)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series - all 3 are great books
Tin Roof Blowdown, The Neon Rain, The Glass Rainbow by James Lee Burke - a whole series of about 10-12 books about Detective Dave Robicheaux, all of his stuff is set in New Iberia, LA and the surrounding area. Doesn't matter if you read them in order or not.

Non-fiction:
An Island to Oneself by Tom Neale - a guy who lived on an island by himself wrote it about his experiences
Dove by Robin Lee Graham - kid who sailed around the world by himself at 16 years old
One Man's Wilderness by Sam Keith - guy who lived in the wilderness in Alaska
Too Big to Fail

Military:
Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell - great book
Marine Sniper (of course)
American Sniper
Trigger Men

Just finished the Big Short by Michael Lewis. It's a little old news but a good read. Financial book on housing collapse. I read little of everything. Cornbread Mafia was a good one I just read too. About Mary Jane growing syndicate in KY.

I just finished a good one:
UNBROKEN by Laura Hillenbrand (she wrote Seabiscuit). Its about Louie Zamperini-a runner in the 1936 Olympics-WWII Bombadier-lost at sea-POW . Awesome read.

Also anything by Michael Lewis

Exactly... and at night. I also listen to books on my iPhone in my truck & while I run. I also cut out my Facebook account and all the "social media". I never did anything productive with that chit anyway. I bet that opened up an hour a day.... seriously, you'd be surprised how much time that stuff takes up.
