Don't Text and Drive

Postby Bourbon » Thu Aug 02, 2012 2:45 pm

This might should be in the Fail Thread, but I thought it was more serious. Please be careful out there. It might not be just you that gets injured when you drive with distractions.

Our company is in the process of adding a device call "CellControl" in all company vehicles. I have installed one in my truck and if your wheels are turning it will block your smartphone from texting, emails, ect. If I had a teenage driver I would install one in there vehicle ASAP.

I've had 3 different women veer into my lane head on in the past 2 months. All of em straightened up and then their heads went right back down to their phones. Gotta be on your toes all the time.

yep installing jammers on our trucks now. Can not use wireless device or phone for any reason the truck is running, except hand held that is used with us to transfer customers information
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
Cheers, Georgie.

'vegas is gearing up for the "green" driver influx...lots already here that think they're back in their lil town, so it'll be "ok" if someone gets pushed off of the road...i mean gah! fast food row is already packed to the gills morning, noon and 5'oclock on without the young'uns fresh from the nest sliding lane to lane with phone out front ....and it's always "our" fault, somehow, though....."jerk"
