Benelli Nova?

Postby Ducks be us » Sun Aug 15, 2004 5:02 pm

Who's got a Nova? My lovely wife let me buy one yesterday at Bass Pro Shops on sale for $299 + tax and $10 background check...I've never owned a pump gun, I have hunted a few times with a loner pump...I like an auto or my side by side, but new is coooool. 8) It may be a couple weeks till I get to shoot it , I plan on taking it to the dove shoot, so, I'd love to hear some stories...good or bad. Y'all have a nice day!

Had one for about 3 years and love it. Got rid of a BPS to get it.

I got the black synthetic in a 26" barrel. Came with full, mod, and Improved cyl choke tubes. Have Y'all patterned your Nova, and, what workes best for 3.5" steel? How's the recoil? Cant wait till I get a chance to shoot it! Y'all have a nice day! 8)

I have had one for 4 or 5 years now, it is pretty cool, I like the way they break down easily. The only reason I don't hunt with it now is I got an SBE. My dad shoots the Nova.
I did get it out last weekend to shoot some targets, kicks like a mule!! half a box of shells and I had to swap back out for my auto loader.
but all together a fun gun to have.

i had one for about 3 years until it got stolen. I loved it. It was by far the hardest hitting gun I have ever shot. Well at least mine was. I once killed a turkey at 80 plus yards with the factory choke, and have no fly zone as an eye witness on that.

This will be my second season with mine and I've been very happy with it so far. Good gun made even better by the price.
