Aside from the occasional woodrow...your screwed. The deer hunting should be ok. Had a great uncle that would sponsor deer with dog hunts in the area, but he passed away 3 years ago, so, my McComb "in" is out. If the dux show, I have been known to carry forum members as a guest on a "descent" public hunt or a draw hunt on a WMA...holla later in the season. Good luck

lived there my whole life, until a few years ago. some good woodie shoots at times. but as far as consistent big duck hunts, forget about it.. some big deer in parts of Pike, Amite, Lincoln, and Franklin counties... if you wanna shoot ducks, you need to head towards the river. locally, you would be better off trying to get permission from landowners than trying to lease. lease land in that area is driven pretty from ooser's. good luck..

and THAT is a duck hunt.

u can have a decent duck hole in those parts, it's gonna take a bit of work, and you can't hunt it more than a 3 or 4 times a year. i had a few mallards 2 years ago and i shot the heck out of some woodies that year. but last year not so much. most everyone i know from those parts drives to delta or the ms river though.
