RedEye, Funny that nearly 2 months later, that lot of Major's calls are still on there for sale. I thought about it, and if the calls average $200 (which I think is about high end par as an average) and the posters are $17 each, that would be the $1250 he's asking. Just tough to chew that large a number in one bite.

Anyway, found a group of calls today that i decided to snatch up.
Mallardtone predator call, Cajun D-102 Duck Call (barrel only), Bill Dowdle Mallard (barrel only with good sticker), Scotch Duck call, and one I have been wanting for a while. A Schexnider Goose call. I actually still want Noah Schexnider's old cane, or Gueydan style, duck call. But, I'll take what I can find. :D

Also got a cheaper copy (has some condition issues) of George Bird Grinnell's American Duck Shooting, 1918 second edition.

This is one of my new acquisitions. After much research and talking to a well know Mallardtone expert I discovered that this is one of 3 cocobolo Mallardtone duck calls made by Ole Rassmussen in the early 60's. He found out early on that he was allergic to cocobolo dust and made no more. 3 exsist. One in Canada, one in Tennessee
and this one. It's also the only one that I know of with a wooden wedge.
