Im not sure what the differnce is. I got the cheaper ones. Plenty fast. And they have the plotwatcher feature which is cool . I run 13 cameras total. The other 7 are a mix of stuff, covert, D40, DI55, 1 truth cam. I like the M-80's the best. I am up to 3,000 pics on a few of them this season, still showing 60% battery life and have been up since July. All the others have had to be re-powered.

I like the idea and know what you are saying, but I've heard people say that they dont take good night pictures or they dont take them very far. Whats your take on them? You got one?

No doubt on this one. they replaced one of mine that was like 3 years old. And they are currently sending me a replacement for one of mine that got ruined by ants this summer. Never a question asked

I will say that ive been very impressed with the Moultrie M-80XT that a coworker has. The pictures look great, unbelievably bright flash at night, and the widescreen pics are awesome. I just oredered 2 to try them out.

They take good pictures and have a good range, if they only worked consistently.

I haven't had any trouble out of my primos, but I have only had it for a month.

Like I said, Jim, I have no complaints about the quality of the pictures, the trigger distance or speed.

It's the reliability of the camera I have problems with.

bushnell black out cam, bottom line.... Battery life is big time on them... Great range, great pics, videos and has the field viewer.... You can buy moultrie m80x black out and bushnell trophy cam blackout on ebay for like $149....I'm running 3 bushnells blackouts, 1 moultrie m80x black out and 2 primos ultra blackouts... I wish i could sell my primos black outs and buy 2 more bushnells. Ive had the new primos blackouts and the money i spend in batteries, i'd be better off spending $30 more and get the bushnell....

Infared lights will spook them older bucks, especially if it gets really close to them... Happened to me last year.... ran a nice 10 pt out of an area I was hunting! Went strictly black out now
