The Beacon. The Mize family has been cooking the best jumbo cheeseburger for over 40 years.

I have had burgers from Boure, Phillips Grocery, Handy Andy, Snackbar, LBs (filet burger) and just about everywhere else people have mentioned, but I just got finished eating one at The Lounge on Lamar. It is hands down the best in town. The place just opened about 2 months ago so many people haven't discovered it yet. Definitely worth going there for. I ordered it medium and they didn't overcook it one bit. Perfect.
