My first time hunting in missouri, it was awesome!! Going back for rifle season in a couple weeks.
Seen tons of bucks and had a 150" + come under my stand but got spooked. Hunting is way different up there than south ms. I loved it.

Good deal. How is it different?MisterBlack wrote:160lb nanny.

Well, for one, the terrain is different. I saw piles and piles of deer in weird bedding spots, it was unreal. I don't hunt much in the delta so I know that's relatively close to hunting in the corn belt area of Missouri. Their rut is alot sooner than ours. When the wind blows hard down here in south ms, you don't hardly seen any deer, wind blows hard up there that doesn't stop them from moving. I'm used to hunting big timber, there its like little patches of timber some not even an acre or two worth along corn and bean fields. To me, hunting was a lot different up there. pardon my ignorance.cagoodwn wrote: Good deal. How is it different?
