Satellite tv for camper during season?
I've always had cable so I know nothing about satellite. How do you do it? Will they so it for short term?

Yes direct tv gave me a six month deal . Can close after that with no penalties . Then reopen account when ever I wish.

I have a box for 3rd room at home, I just take it to camp and hook to satellite there during season, hook it up in 3rd room at home during off season. 9.99 a month for extra box on your service...that's directv.

I have a spare box and dish on a tripod we take camping, cabin, tailgating. It would probablly be cheaper if you had a friend relative that had satellite and got them to order a spare box.

This.. If you have another member of the club who has direct tv, he could add an additional box to his account or grab one out of an unused bedroom.
If you need a demonstration on how to get the signal and such, give me a holler. It is not very complicated.

Adam,
As stated above, if one of your members have home service (& an extra box & dish), you can set up this way. If not, Dish Network offers a "tailgater pakage" that's an option.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but if anyone needs a Direct TV_HD dish, let me know.
