trollin motor mount on a kayak?

Takes me 10-12 minutes per mile with a kayak paddle (canoe paddle would take a bit longer) depending on the wind. Mine is a 12 foot sit on top though, you may be more efficient in a more narrow sit in kayak.

I'm thinking paddle also, even if you come up with a great way to mount the motor.....you still got to have a big old heavy battery in there with you.

It took me about 35 mins in my kayak to go a little over a mile, with 1 dozen decoys (heavy), gun (13 lbs) and a blind bag. There were quite a few stumps that i had to back off of. Then I noticed there was a current, and it took me about an hour and 15 to get back.
