If thats a little blue on the wing it could be a hen mallard. cant really see the spectrum on the wings good though. Congrats, thats a real trophy.

Might be a gadwall with those feet and that bill, really darn cool for sure
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Looks like a leutistic gadwall hen to me.

This is correct. I got a broadside picture of the bird texted to me yesterday. Said one of the Boyd's killed it on Beaverdam.

Wonder how old it is? Can you imagine the amount of steel that bird has seen fly by it's ass! The only thing worse than being a dumb duck is being "unique"
